Pressure ulcers (bedsores) mainly affect people who are bedridden or confined to a wheelchair for long periods. In Marrakech, the heat accelerates skin maceration and the risk of infection. Our nurses, specialised in wound care, come to your home to apply technical dressings suited to the stage of the pressure ulcer: hydrocolloids, alginates, negative-pressure dressings. They assess the wound bed, debride it if necessary, and adjust the care protocol in consultation with the treating physician. Prevention is just as important: repositioning, a pressure-relief mattress, suitable nutrition and hydration. Every visit is documented with follow-up photos to measure how the healing is progressing.
