The process

What to expect

01

Call the coordinator

You call or send a WhatsApp. The coordinator assesses the situation over the phone: symptoms, consciousness level, medical history. Triage in under 3 minutes.

02

On-call nurse dispatched

The nearest available nurse departs immediately with an emergency kit: blood-pressure monitor, pulse oximeter, dressing supplies and glucometer.

03

On-site clinical assessment

Vital signs, rapid neurological evaluation, and stabilisation. The nurse decides: keep at home with monitoring or escalate to SAMU 141.

04

Handover and follow-up

A clinical report is sent to your GP within the hour. If hospitalisation is needed, the nurse accompanies the patient until admission.

The benefits

Help in under an hour

An on-call nurse is dispatched across Marrakech to reach you in under 60 minutes, day or night, weekend or public holiday.

The right level of response

Our coordinator triages your call first, so you get nursing care at home when that is enough and an ambulance only when it is truly needed.

Reassurance when worry strikes

A qualified professional at your door calms a tense evening and tells you plainly what is happening and what comes next.

Expat families or tourists

You are unfamiliar with the local healthcare system, do not speak the language, and need reliable, rapid medical help in your own language.

Five steps, zero grey areas.

Clinical details

The SOS Home Emergency service covers moderate emergencies: vasovagal episodes, hypoglycaemia, hypertensive crises, falls without prolonged loss of consciousness, cutaneous allergic reactions, high fevers, and wounds requiring haemostasis or dressing. The on-call nurse carries a standardised emergency kit including a blood-pressure monitor, pulse oximeter, capillary glucometer, tympanic thermometer, sterile dressing materials and an auto-injectable adrenaline pen. Phone triage follows the ABCDE (Airway, Breathing, Circulation, Disability, Exposure) assessment framework to distinguish situations requiring SAMU 141. In a confirmed life-threatening emergency (cardiac arrest, stroke, MI, uncontrollable haemorrhage), the coordinator immediately activates SAMU 141 and the nurse delivers first-response care until the medical team arrives.

Frequently asked questions

  • Call us for worrying but non life-threatening situations such as a high fever, a wound that needs dressing or sudden pain. For chest pain, breathing difficulty or loss of consciousness, dial SAMU 141 first; our nurse can stay with you while the ambulance is on its way.

  • Yes. The on-call line and the dispatched nurse operate 24 hours a day, every day of the year, including Eid and public holidays. There is no separate booking needed.

  • An urgent night or weekend call-out carries a higher rate than a planned daytime visit because of the on-call cover. The coordinator quotes the fee clearly before the nurse sets off, with no hidden extras.

My father fainted at 11 pm on a Friday. Within 40 minutes a nurse was there, stabilised him and calmly explained everything. He spared us a night of panic at the ER.
