For elderly patients, people recovering from surgery, parents with young children, and travellers staying in a riad or hotel, that journey can be genuinely difficult. Home lab testing removes the obstacle entirely. A qualified technician comes to you, takes the sample in the comfort and privacy of your own home, and the results reach you and your doctor digitally. The clinical value is the same as a walk-in laboratory; what changes is the convenience, the comfort and, for frail or contagious patients, the safety of not having to leave home.

The process is designed to be simple and predictable. You book your collection through WhatsApp or our website, telling us which tests you need (or which your doctor has prescribed) and your preferred time. We confirm the appointment and send any preparation instructions, such as whether you need to fast. At the agreed time, a trained lab technician arrives with all the necessary sterile, single-use equipment, verifies your identity, labels each tube at the bedside to avoid any mix-up, and takes the sample using standard safe practice. The samples are then transported to our authorized lab partner under strict cold-chain conditions so they reach the analyser in perfect condition. You simply wait for the results to arrive.

A wide range of common and specialised analyses can be collected at home. This includes complete blood count (CBC), inflammatory markers (ESR, CRP), liver and kidney function panels, fasting blood glucose and HbA1c for diabetes monitoring, full lipid panels for cholesterol, thyroid function (TSH, T3, T4), a broad range of hormone tests, vitamin and iron status, tumour markers, and various serology and infection panels. A little preparation helps ensure accurate results. Many panels, including fasting blood glucose and the lipid panel, require you to fast for 10 to 12 hours beforehand, which usually means an early-morning appointment with nothing but plain water overnight. Other tests have no fasting requirement at all, and some hormone tests are best taken at a particular time of day or point in the menstrual cycle. Keep taking your regular medication unless your doctor has told you otherwise, and mention any treatment you are on when you book, since some drugs can influence certain results. The reliability of a blood test depends as much on how the sample is handled as on the analyser itself, which is why our process is built around recognised laboratory standards. Samples are collected with sterile single-use equipment, labelled immediately to guarantee traceability, and kept within the correct temperature range during transport so that fragile parameters do not degrade on the way. The analyses themselves are performed by our authorized lab partner, an accredited laboratory using validated, state-of-the-art equipment and the same protocols applied to samples collected on site. In other words, only the place where the needle is inserted changes; everything that determines accuracy is identical to a conventional laboratory.

Most results are available within 24 to 48 hours, with some specialised analyses taking a little longer depending on the technique involved. They are transmitted securely and can be shared directly with your attending physician, so the people who need to act on them have them quickly. Your health data is handled confidentially in line with Moroccan data-protection law (Law 09-08, CNDP), and access is limited to you and the professionals involved in your care.
