Monitoring your blood pressure at home is essential for hypertension, but you still need a reliable device and a measurement taken correctly. Many consumer blood pressure monitors give variable results or are not clinically validated. We provide a validated blood pressure monitor, suited to the patient (correctly sized cuff), deliver it to your home in Marrakech and train you in correct measurement: position, prior rest, regular times, readings over several days. As part of nursing follow-up, we arrange for the readings to be shared with the treating physician, who can then adjust the treatment based on real data rather than a single reading at the surgery. We also explain how to keep a blood pressure diary that is useful at the consultation. Our approach is not to sell a device, but to set up reliable self-monitoring, understood by the patient and useful to the physician, alongside the follow-up by our nurses.
