Guéliz is the heart of Marrakech's new town, laid out on a neat grid around avenue Mohammed V, which links the ONCF station to place du 16 Novembre. Medically, Guéliz is probably the best-equipped district in the city: several private clinics, specialist practices, medical laboratories, imaging centres and a great many duty pharmacies are packed into just a few hundred metres. This concentration of care makes Guéliz a natural relay point after a hospital stay: you leave the clinic and continue your treatment at home, just around the corner, with no break in your care.
