NGAP

Understanding nursing act codes

The NGAP (General Nomenclature of Professional Acts) is the reference framework used in Morocco to code nursing acts. Each procedure is associated with a code (AMI, AIS, IFI) and a coefficient that determines the reimbursement base.

AMI — Nursing Medical Act

Technical acts on medical prescription: injections, dressings, infusions, blood draws. The most common reimbursement base.

AIS — Nursing Care Act

Nursing and hygiene care: bathing, mobility assistance, vital sign monitoring. Used for extended care.

IFI — Nurse Travel Allowance

Home visit travel allowance applied in addition to the act. Varies by distance and time of intervention.

Coefficients & TNR

The National Reference Tariff (TNR) sets the point value. AMO reimbursement is calculated on this basis, not on the actual fee charged.

What determines the price

Four factors, zero surprises.

  • 01

    Type of care

A one-off blood draw doesn't cost the same as a supervised infusion or a night watch.

  • 02

    Complexity

The technical level and the carer profile required shape the price of the procedure.

  • 03

    Duration & frequency

A one-off visit and weeks of follow-up aren't priced the same way.

  • 04

    Time & area

Night, weekend or a distant neighbourhood may add a supplement, always stated in advance.

Reimbursement

How to get reimbursed

Our team guides you at every step to maximise your reimbursement.

  1. Step 1

    Obtain a medical prescription

Your doctor prescribes the necessary nursing care. The prescription is essential for reimbursement.

  2. Step 2

    Receive your NGAP-coded receipt

After each visit, we issue a fiscal receipt with NGAP codes (AMI/AIS/IFI), your ICE, IF and RC number.

  3. Step 3

    Prepare your file

Gather the prescription, care receipts and your AMO/CNSS card. Our coordinator can assist you.

  4. Step 4

    Submit to your fund

Submit the file to CNSS, CNOPS or your mutual fund. Usual processing time: 30 to 60 days.

  5. Step 5

    Receive your reimbursement

Reimbursement is paid into your bank account according to the TNR schedule and your coverage.

AMO · CNSS

Part of it may be reimbursed.

NGAP-coded nursing procedures are partially covered on the basis of the National Reference Tariff. We prepare the structured receipt and tell you the out-of-pocket amount in advance.

01

NGAP-coded receipt

Every procedure is coded (AMI / AIS / IFI) with ICE, IF and RC on the fiscal receipt.

02

Claim assistance

Frequently asked questions

Your questions about pricing

How much does a home nurse visit cost in Marrakech?

The rate depends on the type of care, its complexity and duration. A simple injection starts at 80 DH, a complex dressing at 150 DH. We always provide a written quote before the intervention.

Is home nursing care reimbursed by AMO/CNSS?

Yes, acts prescribed by a doctor and coded according to the NGAP are partially reimbursable. We issue compliant receipts with AMI/AIS/IFI codes to facilitate your reimbursement file.

Are there extra charges at night or on weekends?

Night interventions (after 8pm), weekends and public holidays may incur a surcharge, always stated in advance in the quote.

Can I get a quote before booking?

Absolutely. Contact us via WhatsApp or phone and receive a detailed, no-obligation quote within 15 minutes. No care is billed without prior agreement.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, bank card (mobile terminal), bank transfer and mobile payment. A fiscal receipt is provided after each visit.

Are there travel fees?

A travel allowance (IFI) may apply depending on distance. It is always included in the initial quote and coded separately on the receipt for reimbursement.

Do you offer packages for regular care?
