An unwell child is calmer at home than in a waiting room. A paediatric consultation at home lets infants and children be examined in their own surroundings, with no cross-infection or travel stress. Fever, ear infection, sore throat, bronchiolitis, digestive upset, a skin rash, unusual crying or simply a parent's worry: our coordination engages a partner doctor comfortable with young patients, who examines gently, reassures and prescribes what suits the child's age and weight. We always note the child's age when you call so we can best arrange the visit. Beyond the consultation, our coordination brings together around the child everything a family might need: if a lab test is prescribed, a paediatric sample is arranged at home without moving the child; if care or monitoring is required, our nurses step in at home. A paediatric consultation at home reassures the child as much as the parents: no crowded waiting room, no cross-infections, a doctor who takes the time to examine and to explain the signs to watch for. A private service, we complement the public emergency services: faced with a sign of severity — unusual drowsiness, breathing difficulty, a seizure, dehydration — the reflex remains SAMU (141), which our coordination can call without delay. In detail, the paediatric home visit assesses everything that legitimately worries parents: fever and its effects, hydration, breathing, throat and ears, skin rashes, sleep or appetite disturbances, unusual crying, the after-effects of vaccination. The doctor takes the time to examine the child without rushing them, to explain to the parents the signs to watch for and what to do, and to prescribe dosages strictly suited to weight and age. To prepare for the visit, have the health record, the vaccination record and, if you know it, the child's recent weight to hand. We always note the age when you call so we can best direct the visit. In Marrakech, we attend homes but also hotels and riads for families passing through. And if a work-up or care is needed, a paediatric sample and nursing care are arranged at home, without moving the child. In the presence of a sign of severity — abnormal drowsiness, breathing difficulty, a seizure, a complete refusal to drink — contact SAMU (141) immediately.
